Default Recovering the Recycle Bin if you delete it.

Someone asked me how to recover the Recycle Bin because they accidentally deleted it from their desktop.

I thought I'd provide the answer here in case someone else was having the same problems.

Right click your desktop >> Personalize >> Change desktop icons

There should be a dialog box for you to select "Recycle Bin" from.

Check "Recycle Bin" and apply all changes.

Your Recycle Bin should be appearing now.

Default Show or hide the Recycle Bin

Start button >> Control Panel >> Appearance and Personalization >> Personalize >> Change desktop icons

Hide the Recycle Bin by unchecking Recycle Bin.

Display the Recycle Bin by checking Recycle Bin.

Click OK.

**If you hide it, your Recycle Bin will still act as your Recycle Bin. It just will be hidden.**

Default Set up without a product key

You don't need a product key to install the operating system.

If you start the setup program, you'll come to a dialog box that asks you to enter a product key.
Leave it blank and click "No" in response to the "Are you sure?" dialog box.

A list of all the different Vista versions available on the DVD will show up.
You can pick one and use it for up to 14 days without any hassle.
After 14 days, enter a valid product key or do a fresh install.
