Default Exiting safe mode

My system has entered safe mode in XP and cannot get out. I am getting a message to change a setting on the "general" tab but isn't sure where to look for that. Any ideas?

1. Close all open programs.
2. Click Start, and then click Run. The Run dialog box appears.
3. Type msconfig and then click OK.
4. The System Configuration Utility appears. uncheck the "/SAFEBOOT" option, and
then click OK.
5. You then see the prompt to restart the computer. Click Restart.

It probably refers to the General tab of Msconfig. Run Msconfig, select
"Normal Startup".

As Jerlene said, uncheck the /SAFEBOOT option, which is located under the "BOOT.INI" tab.

just let it go in safe mode then reboot maybe it'll come back normal and if you installed anything lately , uninstall it or use system restore to a previous date while in safe mode
