Default Error message "out of memory"

Hi,
When I open an pdf file upto 600 pages everything is fine but when I try to save the file I get an error message "out of memory". when i look how much memory is being used it says 1.64gb and the computer runs very slow odviously since it is using virtual memory. I have saved the same pdf file successfully in other computer, what is wrong with my computer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Windows allocates a stack of memory for programs on startup. it has nothing to do with how much memory you have. Once this stack is full you will get an out of memory error. Turn off unneeded programs/ applications to free up memory. Ctrl-Alt-Delete, Applications-End Task.
Cheers!
