Cool Word's Flaming Crash on Vista :-(

Now my Word2007 crashes on Vista. I still have the cursor problem that makes using Word impossible on my Vista PC. I tried downloading the latest updates from Microsoft but the problem still exists.

Next I'll have to try re-installing Word2007 from my system discs to see if that works. I'll report the results. If anyone else is having these problems, please report them here for all to share.

Thanks.

I have also had problems with Word crashing on Vista. So you aren't alone. I have tried everything I could think of to solve the problem. I am ready to try and remove the whole program and reinstall with an older version. With my luck it probably won't work. Let me know if anything else you try works, and I will hopefully let you know what worked for me.

Good Luck I think we will need it

Well, my word app appears to be working fine now. I'm trying to recall what exactly I did to get rid of the bugs. As I recall, I looked for fixes using the error dialogues that poped up. But I also recall that there were a few updates just after that as well. So I would recommend following the link provided in the error dialogue that says something like "Find solutions on the web" and also I would make sure you install ALL updates critical and otherwise. Sometimes the non-critical updates will solve many problematic issues. Good luck and keep us posted here.
