I've decided to start using my Vista PC after all and was wondering if anyone would know why my File Browser opens way to big. It almost fills up the screen every time I'm in a program and use the File Open or File Save commands that launch the Vista File Browser.

I resize it every time but it still opens large every time.

Is there a setting that can be adjusted to control this?

It would be nice if there was.

I need to append this. Actually, in Word 07, the File Open command launches the File Browser using as much as 80% of the display, while the File Save As command launches the File Browser using only about 20% of the display. Go figure!

I still prefer XP. Vista is great, don't get me wrong, but XP just has something about it
