You just have to get used to it, as soon as your used to it its really easy and nice to use
If it really bothers you that much though install XP on your new machine, dont let it go to waste, or hell send the computer to me I'll use it haha |

I have a new PC with Vista just waiting for me to start learning how to use it.
Got discouraged at first. See: New Vista PC just sitting there!!! I got a wopper 30" widescreen monitor for Cristmas so I guess its time to hook that up to the new Vista box and start learning. I also went out and bought a "Learning Vista" CD. Shouldn't be too much more difficult than XP I hope. I got discouraged at first because it was so noticablt different. |

How can I get my special Vista downloads folder icon back - it's just a normal folder icon now? The problem is the Downloads folder *icon* which has been
lost and replaced by a standard vanilla folder icon. |

I can't find a way to remove a shadowed cursor set in Vista Home Premium. The cursor is driving me nuts. I would appreciate information on where to go to restore the normal cursors.

Hi, Any help would be nice.
I need to know the right "CD" or "CHDIR" information to get access to a certain directory in DOS. I have Windows Vista. Here is the directory I"m trying to get to: mysql5.0.45 Somebody on Computer Hope's free computer help told me to do this: cd "c:\the whole complete path\mysql5.0.45" but that didn't work for me. See it has them periods in the directory name. When I do "cd mysql5.0.45", it gives me this error message : "Invalid directory". Thanks, Chris |
