Saving Outlook Profiles

I know that Outlook saves its information in a .PST file, and I use this when installing / reinstalling Outlook, to keep all my old information. But WHERE does is keep details of multiple profiles? It is a real pain creating profiles from scratch, with .pst files, server names etc. I foud out accidentally that such information must saved somewhere after completely removing and reinstalling Office on an problem machine, and after installation and expecting to recreate the profiles, Outlook came back with two fully functioning profiles - and not even a hint of a 'new user setup' wizard!
