Cool

I think that the spaces are non-breaking spaces. Try out this formula:

=TRIM(SUBSTITUTE(C1,CHAR(160)," "))

Where 160 is the code for the non-breaking space.
Regards,
Barry.

Default Workbook is invisible

When opening a certain workbook in XL, the workbook does not appear. However, when switching to Full Screen mode, the spreadsheet becomes visible and editable. Any suggestions!

You can choose any order in a dialog from Window>Arrange.

Default Multiply column values by one number

I have a decent sized spreadsheet (500+ rows) with two columns, one for a product item number, and the other the product price. I need to multiply every price in that particular column by 1.20. Is there a way I can update the price values in that column all at once, instead of having to go through it one at a time?

In the 3rd column, in the first cell put =PRODUCT(B1,1.2). This will give you your first value. Highlight the entire column, and click "Fill down". (I think it's in the edit menu on older versions then 2007).
