D is not accessible Incorrect Function

When I put a CD into the D drive (to either read a CD, or to copy to a cd), I receive a message saying "D is not accessible. Incorrect Function". I have no idea what to do to troubleshoot this problem. Can anyone help, or tell me who I should contact to get help??

This problem may occur when your CD burning program is not compatible with your computer operating system(XP, NT, etc.).
Uninstall it, reinstall it and try again.
