As per my experience and knowledge there should not be a problem with that, where as you can't have multiple people making design changes etc but just entering data should be fine. The obvious solution would be to split the database assuming you haven't done so already, give each user their own copy of the front end with all linking to the same back end. Or just install the runtime client (not the full access) and then it is never asks. Plus if you get the office developer package, you can install it on any machine that you have created a database for.
